Things to consider when designing and creating a layout for your website. Together we can design a exciting site that meets your companys' needs.

* I love to use a color wheel or chart or paint swatches to refer to in order to aid in my creativity process.

* Feel free to put your ideas down on paper first. This will help save you time.

* Ask yourself questions of what is it that I want people to know (about my product or service that I provide).

* Why would people consider coming to your business and use your service versus someone else.

* What is the benefit? What's in it for me?

* Use color. (usually your favorite one will help the most as your site has to reflect who you are.

* Do I want to include pictures or photos in my page? Either of my staff, my product, event or service that I provide?

* Do I want people to contact me via email or simply telephone?

* If people are making a payment for my product or service or to purchase tickets to your events, what is the preferred method of payment(s).

There are a wide variety of special features for your web site.

  • Flash Animation: text, buttons, photos, and movies. click here for a sample of videos.

  • Consistency in formating using styles which assist with fonts, color, layout, formatting.
  • This font is an Arial type which has no hooks and is very easy to read.
  • This font is a Times New Roman that has hooks on it and slows your readers down.
  • There are many script fonts to choose from. This is a Brush Script.
  • Background color, font color, selection. Any color you can think of, we can do it.
  • Or perhaps a gradient fill effect such as this:
  • Images, photos of your staff, your product or of a special event, these photos certainly do say a 1,000 words.

  • Links: to images, each subsequent page on your site, other sites you want to mention, sponsor or support, email addresses so people can contact you.
  • This is a sample of a 3D effect applied to an image.
  • Roll over effect; this changed the "hover" state of a link when you put your cursor over it to help identify that it is indeed a link. It is is hovered over a picture you can change it to have other effects or change pictures.
  • Borders around items such as pictures or an entire section or column.
  • Navigational lists and links, formatted consistently.
  • A show/hide feature having images continually change automatically to another one.
  • Web forms to submit with features such as:
    • drop down lists (values to choose from)
    • Radio buttons for Yes / No; and multiple choice.

    • Check boxes to click in.

    • Submit button to click on when completed filling out a form.
